where I noticed many business owners encounter a lot of uncertainties:
-- Having large volume of work, but gain little profit
-- Low amount of work but heavy expenditure
-- Work not planned, always “fire fighting”
-- Unable to respond fast to customer complaints
-- Tight cash flow to pay salary and suppliers
-- Not knowing the work status, keep calling to get the process
-- People blaming each other and claiming only they are right
In 1986, I came out
to start my own construction company and I decided then I do
not want to face the same frustrations, so I engaged 2 software
companies to computerize my operations.
We faced a lot of
frustrations with these software companies as well as many others
we have spoken to as:
-- The price versus return of investment was not adequate
-- Software is bloated with features we do not need and lack
features that we need
-- Product overly complicated and required extensive training
-- Require huge investment in terms of hardware and infrastructure
-- Not tailored to our industry needs
So I set up SPS Solution
Sdn Bhd in 1996 to address those challenges myself.
Today, based on our
experience working with dozens of business owners, we have developed
a solution that consists of tools and consultation to automate,
manage and centralize all administrative, financial and operational
information to facilitate business decisions.
